About Us

AI governance is critical to the future of all humanity and requires the collective attention and participation of countries worldwide. 

Leading Chinese AI research institutions, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute,have united the strengths and intellectual resources in the fields of AI development and security in China. Together, they have formed “China AI Development & Safety Association”, representing China in dialogue and collaboration with AI security research institutions around the world.
